Hours of operation:

We are open when we have fruit to pick as the season and the weather dictates. We recommend you always call or write to confirm that we are open. Generally, we are open 7 days per week during the month of September for apple and Muscadine grape picking. Our hours then are 10 AM until 7 PM. Occasionally we will have plums, peaches and blueberries available as the season permits. No regular hours exists for them because of the limited supply.

Educational Field Trips:

For many years we have provided for school and organizational field trips. We provide reservations for two sessions daily during the month of September. The sessions are at 10 AM and 11 AM. The session consists of a lecture on growing fruit and a question and answer session. Then we provide a half peck bag to each student and its off to the orchard to pick apples. The fee is modest but can be variable according to fruit availability. The price will be available when reservations are made. We advise reservations be made in August because of limited availability.

Again, thank you for your interest in the orchard. I hope you have found this web site to be interesting and informative. We look forward to seeing you this year.
